1. The Beech House Solihull

Situated right in Solihull centre, The Beech House is a charming restaurant known for its warm ambience and delicious food. This year, they have rolled out an impressive festive menu that is sure to keep everyone happy, vegans included.

The Beech House Solihull’s Festive Menu:

  • Three Courses: £38 per person
  • Two Courses: £30 per person
  • Available from November 21st, 2023

Vegan Options on the Menu:

  • Starter: Beetroot Gnocchi & Roasted Portobello Mushrooms with Rocket, Porcini Paste, Rocket & Basil Pesto, Pumpkin Seeds
  • Main: Hasselback Butternut Squash with Harissa Glaze, Smoked Applewood Fondue, Crispy Sprouts, Toasted Pumpkin Seeds

2. The Boat – Catherine-de-Barnes

Canal-Side Christmas Experience

For a unique dining experience by the canal, head to The Boat in Catherine-de-Barnes. Their festive and Christmas Day menus offer some delicious-sounding vegan dishes that will mean the vegans at the table have a merry Christmas too.

Festive Menu at The Boat:

  • Three Courses: Adults £39 per person
  • Kids £19.50 per person
  • Available from November 21st, 2023

Vegan Options on the Festive Menu:

  • Starter: Roasted Harissa Aubergine, Coconut Yoghurt, Pomegranate & Toasted Almonds
  • Main: Slow Cooked Spiced Red Cabbage with Mash, Crispy Shallots and red Wine Sauce
  • Dessert: Cherry and almond Crumble, Toasted Seeds, Chocolate Blood Orange Ice Cream

Christmas Day Menu at The Boat:

Four Courses: Adults £100 per person, Kids £50 per person

Vegan Options on Christmas Day Menu:

  • Starter: Sautéed Wild Mushrooms
  • Main: Roast Stuffed Squash
  • Dessert: Cherry & Almond Crumble

3. The King’s Arms

A Taste of the Countryside

Located just a short drive from Solihull in Knowle, The King’s Arms offers a real country pub experience. They have prepared vegan-friendly festive and Christmas Day menus so everyone can enjoy a Christmas meal together.

The King’s Arms Festive Menu:

  • Three Courses: £32.95
  • Available from November 22nd

Vegan Options on the Festive Menu:

  • Starter: Spiced Carrot and Coriander Soup with Pesto, Baked Carrot Crisps
  • Main: Roasted Celeriac Steak with Parsnip Puree, Shallots, Exotic Mushrooms, Pesto
  • Dessert: Christmas Pudding with Vegan Custard

Christmas Day 2023 Menu:

Five Courses: £84.95

4. Côte Solihull

A Taste of France for the Holidays

For a French twist to your Christmas celebration, visit Cote in Solihull. They offer a delightful vegan menu as part of their “Menu de Noël,” giving you a taste of France without leaving town.

Three Courses: £34.95

Vegan Options on the Festive Menu:

  • Starter: Parsnip Soup with Chestnut, Pear, Parsley and White Truffle Oil, Served with Toasted Sourdough Baguette
  • Main: Mushroom Bourguignon with Slow-Cooked Fable Mushroom in Red Wine, Vegan Bacon, Baby Onions & Chantenay Carrots, with Creamed Potatoes
  • Dessert: Chocolate Salted Caramel Tart with Raspberries and Vanilla Ice Cream

This is their festive menu for the run-up to Christmas. As far as I can see they are not open on Christmas Day so don’t have a Christmas Day menu.
