Nestled in the heart of Moseley, Damascena is a personal favourite of mine. Why? Because it’s got the BEST vegan chai latte I’ve ever tasted! Like, so good you should find your closest Damascena and try one right now!

It’s not just a coffee shop, it’s also a Middle Eastern restaurant with a welcoming coffee house atmosphere. As a vegan, this place is a dream because it has so many options for both food and drink.

Here’s why you’ll love Damascena:

• Best Vegan Chai Latte Ever: You read that right! Their vegan chai latte is simply irresistible – I have to order it every time I go there.
• Fresh and Delicious Vegan Options
• Whether you prefer indoors, the front seating area, or their lovely garden at the back, they’ve got you covered.
• Huge Drinks Menu: Explore a vast selection of coffees, teas, juices, ice blends, milkshakes (with vegan ice cream), frappes, and iced teas.

This is my favourite vegan-friendly coffee shop in Moseley when I want to get some work done, it feels peaceful and the staff are always friendly when I visit. I especially like the matcha latte with oat milk. So, if you’re looking for a cozy spot to get some work done while sipping on your favourite brew, Java Roastery is the place to be. 

Here’s what makes it special:

Opening Hours: Sunday – Thursday: 11 am – 11 pm | Friday – Saturday: 11 am – 12 am

Okay, Heavenly Desserts may be a full-blown dessert shop rather than just a coffee shop but whether you want a coffee and a treat or just a coffee they’ve got plenty of options.

Here’s why it’s worth a visit:

Cafephilia is a charming independent coffee shop. With both cosy corners as well as bright window seats. It’s got an advantage over most other coffee shops in Moseley, it’s open until 10 p.m. every night.

Sorrento Lounge is not just a coffee shop, it’s a restaurant and bar too. I go here a lot, it’s part of the Lounge chain of restaurants and I’ve been to several. They are all really relaxing and chilled-out places. It’s a spot suitable for all ages and types (dogs too).
