Something we all need is a couple of good T-shirts in our wardrobe. So, I took some time to put together a list of The Best Sustainable And Vegan T-Shirt Brands In The UK and I’m excited to share it with you!

Whether it’s your day off and you’re dressing comfortably to get all your errands done, or you’re a bit like me and think jeans with a nice T-shirt will do for pretty much any occasion.

Now, if we’re being honest, T-shirts are a pretty easy item to get our hands on but the question is…what kind of T-shirt do you want to wear?

We all know a couple of high street shops where we can pick up T-shirts for a fiver. And in my blissfully ignorant youth, boy how I loved this. But as I grew up, I became aware of the bitter reality and the true cost of these T-shirts. 

Making clothes is not a quick simple process. There are many steps from growing or making the materials, all the way to the consumer walking out of the store with their new item in their bag.

When a T-shirt costs a fiver, I don’t understand how even one person along the supply chain can be paid and treated fairly, never mind all of them. Even when produced in huge quantities I still don’t get it. 

And then that’s another problem, large-scale production often leads to unsold or damaged items ending up in landfill.

Anyway, you get it…that’s why you’re here looking for the best sustainable and vegan t-shirt brands. So, I can stop going on and tell you all about these great brands I’ve found.

Sassy Spud is an Irish vegan t-shirt company that’s all about creating premium-quality, sustainable clothing with a touch of ‘sass’. They believe that adding a bit of humour to their designs brings a fresh and uplifting approach to more serious topics.

Their T-shirts are made ethically and they take pride in producing their designs far from sweatshop environments.

Sass Spud also cares about sustainability, their T-shirts are printed using vegan and eco-friendly inks. They even explain that they use a printing process that conserves water usage by an astounding seven times compared to standard fabric dyeing methods.

In the past vegans had a reputation of wearing hemp trousers and woven shoes, but with the options from Vegan Outfitters that stereotype is long gone, well unless that’s your thing, that’s cool, but it’s great to have a choice.
