Rosa’s Thai Birmingham for Vegan Thai Food
If you’re looking for vegan Thai food in Birmingham Rosa’s in Chamberlain Sq is a great option and today I’m going to review it for you by sharing what I loved and what I didn’t love so much.
Find Rosa’s Thai on Google Maps
Since finding Rosa’s Thai Birmingham I’ve been a bunch of times! It’s in a nice part of the city and they serve wonderful vegan Thai food.
Why I Love the Vegan Food at Rosa’s Thai Birmingham:
The place itself is perfect for me. Not too fancy but still classy enough that it feels acceptable to order a cocktail. I also like that it has a bit of character to it, with quirky signs and the style of writing on their menu.
But, as you can guess, the fun writing on it isn’t my favourite thing about the menu. What I love is the huge amount of vegan options! Everything is clearly labelled with a little icon, even the drinks such as wine and cocktails.
Rosa’s Thai Birmingham is the Best Spot for Vegan Red Curry
My favourite thing at Rosa’s is the tofu and veg red curry. The moment the mouthwatering smell hit my nose, I knew I wasn’t going to be disappointed. It was rich, creamy and had just the right amount of spice.
The salt and pepper tofu is crispy on the outside and still pretty firm on the inside. This was perfect because who wants wibbly tofu??
The summer rolls are fresh, crunchy and packed with veggies. They come with a chilli dip.
The only thing I didn’t love was the tom yum noodle soup. It tasted a little too much like a tomato and mushroom soup, the freshness and the herbs didn’t come through. Different regions might make different styles but it just wasn’t my favourite thing, the next person might love it, but I think it may have been a special, I don’t think the noodles soup version of the tom yum is always on the menu.
Cocktails at Rosa’s
And oh the cocktails at Rosa’s Thai are divine. My only complaint was that they don’t actually come in buckets, I could have drank 10.
So without a doubt, Rosa’s Thai Birmingham is a great place to head to if you want some tasty plant-based Thai food.
